While I wait for my ramen to cook, I cut this bit out of The Pillow Book - Benedict Cumberbatch seducing a woman by talking about writing a poem for her. If you’re into that sort of thing.

This is my favourite of his audiobooks

because

HELLLOOOO HOW DEEEPP IS HIS VOICE IT’S FUCKING ORGASMIC

also it’s just a really absorbing and interesting story and even in the scenes without Benedict I was still interested in what was going on.

and I was so rooting for him over the other guy I can’t even tell you

and THE FIGHT. THE FIGHT. /dead/

but probably most of all because he was playing an incredibly intelligent character, and I think small mice on venus know about my intelligence kink by now.

I have it but I haven’t listened to it yet. Big mistake. This is the next thing I’ll do in my life, because… “You and I, I wonder…” HOT DAMN.
